Veitur brought Reykjaæð 1 back into operation before the weekend following extensive cleaning earlier this year. When hot water begins flowing through the pipeline after a shutdown, fine particles are carried along with the water.
We are currently cleaning all major filters in the distribution system connected to Reykjaæð 1.
If the water pressure is lower than usual throughout your home and radiators are not heating properly.

If the water appears cloudy or discoloured but the pressure is normal.
