Uppfært 28.4. kl. 14.20: Vatnstaðan í vatnsbólinu var orðin góð um síðustu helgi og dugði vel fyrir öll sem voru á staðnum.
Uppfært 21.4. kl. 14.15: Á morgun, miðvikudag, verður haldið áfram í lekaleit í Úthlíð. Notast verður m.a. við dróna. Á milli kl. 9 og 14 á morgun verður vatnslaust af og til í um 10 mín í senn á meðan við erum að einangra leka.
Uppfært 17.4. kl. 15.00: Vatnsstaðan í Úthlíð hefur ekki batnað þrátt fyrir úrkomuna undanfarið. Við erum að rannsaka hvers vegna og undirbúa frekari forðaöflun. Slíkt tekur þó tíma. Um helgina má því gera ráð fyrir að það verði vatnslaust um tíma líkt og um síðustu helgi.Við höfum lokað fyrir allar tengingar þar sem lak af kerfinu, en það dugar ekki til. Við erum að undirbúa tímabundna lausn fyrir helgina í kringum sumardaginn fyrsta.
Uppfært 13.4. kl. 8.50: Þrýstingur á kalda vatninu í Úthlíð hefur hélst að mestu góður um helgina eftir lagfæringar síðustu viku, en féll þó tímabundið. Uppistaðan er enn vatn frá Bláskógabyggð þar sem staðan á vatnsbólinu á Bjarnafelli er enn lág.
Uppfært 10.4. kl. 9.15: Vatnsstaðan í Úthlíð hefur lagast töluvert með réttum tengingum, en staðan á vatnsbólinu er ennþá lág.
Uppfært 8.4. kl. 9.30: Fundist hafa gamlar tengingar inn á veituna sem ekki var vitað um og önnur þeirra lak töluverðu vatni út af kerfinu sem mátti ekki við því. Unnið er að réttum tengingum og lekaleit á svæðinu í góðu samstarfi við sveitarfélagið og íbúa. Vatnsstaðan er enn viðkvæm, en fer batnandi með hlýnandi veðri.
Uppfært 6.4. kl. 12.00: Vatnsstaðan er enn lág og unnið er að því að tryggja að viðskiptavinir á svæðinu hafi vatn, en í morgun var alveg vatnslaust á svæðinu öllu. Starfsfólk Veitna er á svæðinu til að bregðast við því.

Langvarandi þurrkar hafa gert það að verkum að staðan á vatnstökusvæði fyrir Úthlíð er lág. Mikið er af fólki i bústöðum um páskahelgina og þá eykst notkun. We have shut off all connections where leaks from the system occurred, but that is not sufficient. We are preparing a new temporary solution for the following long weekend.
Updated April 13 at 8:50: Pressure in the cold water supply in Úthlíð has mostly remained good over the weekend following repairs last week, although it fell temporarily. However, the main supply is still water from Bláskógabyggð, as the level at the water source at Bjarnafell remains low.
